JAMMU, Mar 13: Talab Tillo police today traced out a missing girl from Merrut in Uttar Pradesh.
“A complaint was lodged by Ashok Kumar, resident of Puran Nagar, Talab Tillo, Jammu stating that her daughter namely Ekta Kumari went missing on March 8” a police official said. He said acting over the complaint, police team launched a hunt to trace out the missing girl.
The official said that after hectic efforts of Incharge, police post, Talab Tillo, Sumeet Sharma, and his team who conducted raids within and outside the State i.e. Punjab, HP, Delhi and UP, the missing girl was traced out from Merrut (UP). “After completing legal formalities, the girl has been handed over to the family members”, he added.
The police team led by SHO Nowabad, Inspector Neeraj Bhagat assisted by Incharge, police post Talab Tillo, Sub Inspector Sumeet Sharma and SI Rahul Dogra traced out the missing girl under the supervision of SDPO West, Pranav Mahajan, SP City North, Jammu, Vinod Kumar.
