Missing girl recovered from Ludhiana

JAMMU, June 5: Police today recovered a 22-year-old missing girl from Ludhiana, Punjab.
“22-year-old girl, hailing from Dashmesh Nagar and working as Customer Care Executive with Airtel call centre was missing since June 2, as reported by her family members at Satwari police station”, probationer DySP Shabir Khan said.
After registering a missing report at Satwari police station, police started investigation and during investigation it came to fore that the girl was in a relationship with a Ludhiana based boy, who has been identified as Jasbir Singh, Khan added.
On this inputs, police team from Satwari Police Station in alliance with Ludhaina Police conducted raid and recovered the girl from Ludhiana, he said, adding that the accused, with whom the girl was in relationship managed to fled from the spot and manhunt has been launched to arrest him.
The girl has been restored to family members after completing legal formalities and investigation into the case is in progress.
