Srinagar, Dec 11: Police today said it recovered a missing girl hailing from Mattan area of Anantnag district in south Kashmir.
A police spokesman said that Police Station Mattan received a report from one person namely Idrees Ahmad, resident of Chattisingh Pora Mattan in Anantnag, stating that his daughter is missing since December 6 from his home.
“On this information, a missing report was registered and investigation was started. After strenuous efforts of police, the missing girl has been traced from her relatives from Uttersoo area of Anantnag. After completion of legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her parents,” he said.
