RAJOURI, Feb 15: The dead body of a missing boy was recovered from Nowshera area of district Rajouri today.
The deceased was identified as 11-year-old Mohd Irfan, son of Nazakat Ali, resident of Gagrote village. The boy had gone with cattle for grazing and he went missing three days ago. The parents were searching for him.
Today, his dead body was recovered lying under a large stone. It is believed that he had been taking shelter under boulder due to rain and a stone fell down and pressed him. A villager noticed the body today and informed family. Later, police party from Nowshera also arrived and shifted it to the hospital for post-mortem. The police has started inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC.
