JAMMU, Sept 3: The State Government today ordered posting of senior IPS officer SK Mishra as Director General of Police, Prisons against the available vacancy arising out of the retirement of PL Gupta on August 31.
An order to this effect was issued today by Principal Secretary to Government, Home Department, RK Goyal.
Mishra, an IPS officer of 1985 batch of Jammu and Kashmir cadre, had recently been promoted as the DGP.
