JAMMU, Aug 27: Raman Suri, Member Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Executive Committee, while condemning killings of innocent civilians in Kashmir said that Congress leaders’ irresponsive statements and miscreants backed by Pakistan were responsible for such incidents. He said that these people, shaken by recent developments, were desperate and trying to destabilize peace here.
In a statement issued here, today he said that killing of Abdul Qadeer Kohli of Rajouri district by militants and driver Noor Mohammed Dar of Zradipora Uranhall locality in a stone pelting incident speaks of the fact that some desperate persons were hell bent upon disturbing peace process and even resorting to killings of innocent persons. This, he added, needs a thorough probe and the guilty should be booked under law.
