JAMMU, June 24: The driver of a Wagon-R Car today had a miraculous escape when his vehicle was smashed from behind by a mini-bus on University Road near J&K Bank.
According to a police spokesperson, a Wagon-R bearing registration number JK02AH-7324 was on its way from Vikram Chowk to Narwal, when a mini-bus bearing registration number JK02BG-5477 smashed into it resulting into total damage of the car. However, the man driving the car had a miraculous escape, as he didn’t get even minor injuries.
On getting reports of the accident, a police team from police post Nehru Market led by incharge Sub-Inspector, Sumit Magotra, reached the spot and seized both the vehicles involved in the accident. However, no arrest could be made, as the mini-bus driver managed to flee from the spot leaving behind the vehicle.
