Mir among 5 promoted to DGP grade

NEW DELHI, Feb 21: Erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre IPS officer Abdul Ghani Mir was among a group of five AGMUT cadre IPS officers, who have been promoted to the rank of Director General of Police.

Among those officers who have been elevated include Garima Bhatnagar and Anand Mohan from the 1994 batch, along with Ravindra Singh Yadav from the 1995 batch.

Additionally, Anurag Kumar and Abdul Ghani Mir, both from the 1994 batch, have been granted proforma promotion to the DGP grade.
