Minorities in Pakistan

Sir,
In Pakistan the fanatics and the fundamentalists rule the roost is evidenced by the fact that no minority group is safe there. The Hindus are a terribly persecuted lot followed by the Ahmadias and the Shia Muslims. The Draconian Section 295 (a),(b) and (c) of the Pakistan Penal Code(Blasphemy Law) gives sufficient opportunities to the fanatics to compound the woes of the people of the minority communities. The result is that minorities are always at the receiving end in Pakistan. Their girls are kidnapped and later forced to convert to Islam. They are given no share in state services but forced to do menial jobs. Their ladies and gentlemen are booked under the Blasphemy Law on personal vendetta to vindicate grouses.
The integrity and moral authority of a nation depend on its firm commitment to ensuring the rule of law and defending its minorities Religious freedom is an inalienable human right which Pakistan has been denying to its minorities since its inception in 1947. Yes, it is totally justified in doing so for its policy has always been to do the opposite of what India does.
Yours etc…
