Minor killed, 9 injured in Valley road mishaps

SRINAGAR, Nov 25: A minor was killed while nine others were injured in different road accidents in Kashmir Valley.
A police spokesman said a Load Carrier JK09-8837 hit and injured a 10 year-old boy identified as Mohammad Asif Mochi at Sulkote in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Kupwara for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries. After completion of medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
The spokesman said a Tavera vehicle JK01V-8328 collided with a swift car JK03E-4449 near Kadalabal in Pampore area of Pulwama district, resulting in injuries to 2 passengers. Both the injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment.
The spokesman said a Swift car JK13C-1500 turned turtle at Check in Rajpora area of Pulwama district, resulting in injuries to two persons. Both the injured were shifted SMHS hospital Srinagar for treatment.
The spokesman said a bus JK01D-5566 turned turtle near Taper Crossing in Kreeri area of Baramulla district, resulting in injuries to five passengers. All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Kreeri for treatment.  Police have registered a case in this regard.
