RAJOURI, Mar 31: A minor school girl was seriously injured after she was attacked by a leopard in Thannamandi area of Rajouri today.
The incident took place when the girl Asiya Mehmood (15), daughter of Mohd Zaman, resident of Sangeli Khablan was returning her home from School at Palangarh. The leopard ambushed her and she raised alarm. The people ran towards her with lathis and recued her. The leopard then escaped to nearby jungle. The girl was removed to District Hospital, Rajouri.
