POONCH, Oct 1: A minor boy was drowned in an underground water tank at village Sagra in Mendhar sub division of district Poonch today.
Official sources said that 5-year-old Zeeshan, son of Mohd Riaz, resident of village Sagra was plying in the compound of his house. He suddenly fell into the nearby water tank. The family members later removed him from the tank and rushed to Mankote Primary Health Centre where doctors declared him as brought dead. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
