POONCH, Aug 11: A minor boy was seriously injured after he was hit by an Army vehicle, near Dhar Galoon on Bhimber Gali-Mendhar Road this afternoon.
The police said mishap took place when 4-year-old Rehan Khan, son of Sheraz Khan, resident of Kottan, Dhar Galoon was returning home from Convent school in Mendhar. He started moving along the road after he was dropped by his school bus near the village. The Army convoy was on way to Mendhar from BG. One of the vehicles, hit the boy causing him serious injuries.
He was rushed to nearby PHC Dhar Galoon where doctors provided first- aid and then referred him to SDH Mendhar. Later, he was shifted to District Hospital, Rajouri in view of his serious condition. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
