Minor boy electrocuted; watchman found dead

UDHAMPUR, July 10: A minor boy was electrocuted in a makeshift hutment near T Morh Udhampur, while a young man was found dead in a school where he was working as watchman, here today.
Reports said that 6-year-old Sandeep Kumar, son of Jaiprakash, resident of Chhattisgarh, presently putting up in a makeshift hutment near T Morh Udhampur, received electric shock after he accidently came in contact with a live wire.
Parents of the boy rushed him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Meanwhile, watchman of a private school has been found dead in the school premises near Ramnagar Chowk. The deceased was identified as Raj Kumar (35), son of Kirpu Ram, resident of village Bhugtrian, Tehsil Ramnagar, who was working as watchman in National Academy School, near Ramnagar Chowk and had been putting near Pine villa Guest House Udhampur.
He was found in an unconscious condition inside a class room of the school, this morning. He was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Later, the body was sent for the postmortem and police after completion of all the legal formalities, handed over the dead body to family members of the deceased for last rites. Udhampur Police has registered the case under Section 174 CrPC for further investigation.
