MENDHAR, Sept 26: A 14-year- old boy died under mysterious circumstances at village Chhunga in Mendhar sub division of Poonch this afternoon.
Reports said that the incident took place when one Mohd Fazal had gone to the nearby nallah site to fetch grass for the cattle along with his two sons. While father was cutting grass from the hill, the boys went to take bath in the nearby nallah. 14-year-old Nazarat died under mysterious circumstances there. The two boys were also said to be quarling and it was suspected that elder one had pushed Nazakat down into the nallh. While his younger brother told police that Nazakat died due to drowning in the nallah. But police claimed that there was not enough deep water in the nallah where this incident has happened.
The police shifted the body of the boy to Mendhar hospital for postmortem and started investigation under Section174 CrPC. The elder brother was detained for questioning.
