Minor among two reunited with families

JAMMU, Jan 11: Police reunited two missing persons including a minor with their families.
As per police sources, on March 4 last year, a complaint was lodged at Police Station Nagrota about missing of a minor boy namely Ajay Singh, son of Sagar Singh of Jagti Colony, District Jammu.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 116/2020 under Section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Nagrota and posters of the missing boy were pasted at all the major places to trace out the missing child.
A man who saw the poster of the missing person at a hotel in Samba informed SHO Nagrota about the presence of the boy in Samba.
Acting over the information, a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Mohammad Showket and assisted by SI Sukhbir Singh reached the place and recovered the boy.
Meanwhile, on December 29 last year, a person lodged a report with Police Post Sangaldaan regarding missing of his father namely Abdul Ghani, son of Fattu Gujjar of Bolni Top Thatharka, Sangaldaan.
Acting over the report, a missing report was entered into the Daily Diary of Police Post Sangaldaan and hunt was launched to trace out the missing person.
Today on a specific input, a team from Police Post Sangaldaan led by SI Sameer Ahmed under the supervision of SHO Gool and SDPO Gool recovered the missing person from Reasi District.
After completing all the legal formalities, both the missing persons were handed over to the families.
