JAMMU: Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh today directed the concerned officers to ensure fast-pacing of construction of Mini Secretariat Complex at Rajouri while maintaining that the new complex will help in providing quality services to the people of the district.
The Dy CM was chairing a meeting convened to review the progress of construction of Mini Secretariat Complex Rajouri here today.
The meeting was attended by the Minister for Agriculture who is also Chairman of District Development Board (DDB), Rajouri, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Choudhary Zulfkar Ali, Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Gani Kohli, Legislators, Qamar Hussain, Vibod Gupta and Surinder Choudhary, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Dr Pawan Kotwal, District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, Director School Education Jammu and Superintending Engineer, PWD, Circle Rajouri.
It was decided in the meeting that Deputy CM along with concerned Ministers and Legislators will visit Rajouri to ascertain the feasibility of the spot to be taken up under the construction of Mini Secretariat Complex Rajouri.
It was informed in the meeting that for construction of Mini Secretariat Complex at Rajouri an amount of Rs 10 crore was sanctioned under Special Task Force for Jammu province during the Financial year 2011-12 and upto 2015-16, Rs 7.5 crore have been released by the Planning and Development Department which have been further placed at the disposal of PWD.
