Mini bus service on 5 new routes inaugurated

JAMMU May 6: On the directions of Transport Minister Abdul Gani Kohli to provide public transport facility to the public of Gujjar Nagar, Qasim Nagar and adjoining areas, DIG Traffic Jammu, Ashkoor Wani, Regional Transport Officer Jammu A.K Khajuria and SSP Traffic Mohan Lal today inaugurated mini bus service on 5 new routes of city.
These services will operate on routes which are Amphalla Jammu to Bhatindi via (Indra Chowk, Vivekananda Chowk, Gujjar Nagar, Bridge) & vice versa (3 mini buses), Amphalla to Sunjwan via (Indra Chowk, Vivekananda Chowk, Gujjar Nagar Bridge) and vice versa (3 mini buses), Amphalla to Chhanni Himmat, via (Indra Chowk, Gujjar Nagar) & vice versa (5 mini buses), Amphalla to Kargil Colony via (Narwal, Kiryani Talab, Qasim Nagar) and vice versa (14 mini buses) and Bus Stand to Nagrota via (Amphalla Panjthirthi ) and vice versa (6 mini buses).
Besides this 10 additional services from Amphalla to Chowadhi via MAM College were also added to the already existing route to cater to the requirements of the public especially the students and old-age persons.
Earlier, there was no service to these routes via Gujjar Nagar bridge and people were facing lot of hardships.
