JAMMU, May 27: The troops of Border Security Force (BSF) today recovered an anti-personnel mine while patrolling along the International Border in Samba district.
“The BSF troops of 9 Battalion this afternoon while patrolling along the border in village Khoura in Rajpura area of Samba recovered an anti-personnel mine and took it into custody,” police sources here said.
They said the mine was later taken to an isolated place and defused by the experts of Bomb Disposal Squad.
Panic triggered among the residents of bordering village after the recovery of the device.
