JAMMU, July 17: Militants tonight gunned down a civilian at village Kawari in Kupwara district.
Reports said the militants fired at Bilal Ahmad Denthu son of Abdul Rashid at Kawari from close range, leaving him in a pool of blood.
He was shifted to hospital, where he was declared as brought dead.
Reports said an Army team rushed to the spot and conducted searches. However, no one was arrested.
