SRINAGAR, May 31: Security forces today busted a militant hideout in Kupwara district of north Kashmir, seizing a cache of arms and ammunition, police said.
The hideout was busted by a joint party of police and Rashtriya Rifles during search operations in Wuchar forest near Wogbal village of Handwara, 80 kms from here, a police spokesman said.
The seizure made from the hideout included two AK assault rifles with two magazines and 32 rounds, nine grenades, a pistol magazine with three rounds, eighteen rounds of Pika rifle and a matrix sheet, he said.
However, no one was arrested during the operation, the spokesman said. (AGENCIES)
