Migrant Relief holders highlight demands

JAMMU, Jan 9: A meeting of All Kashmiri Migrant Relief Holders was held at Jagti Township today under the presidentship of Ajay Bhat.
The meeting demanded enhancement of cash relief to Rs 20,000 per family, construction of more community halls, installation of street lights from Mata Kheer Bhawani temple to National Highway, passenger shed for public at National Highway, repairing of main and internal roads and construction of additional block of Government Higher Secondary School.
The meeting expressed concern over decreasing the quota of ration. It demanded that ration depots should remain open as the depot holders close the same within five days. It also expressed concern over suspension of JEs and demanded that the order be revoked as they have nothing to do with sanitation in the camp. Others who addressed the meeting included Purshotam Padroo, Mohan Lal, Tej Nath, Kiran Ji and Kaka Ji.
