JAMMU, Mar 26: With an aim to prepare the teacher trainees for their future placement, the Alumni and Placement Committee of MIER College of Education organized a 2-day workshop on the topic ‘Facing Interviews Fearlessly,’ here today.
The resource person for the session was A K Kaul, Group Head, HR and Quality Assurance, MIER.
The programme was attended by Dr Annie Koul, HoD, B Ed, faculty members alongwith the students of B Ed.
Dr Annie Koul welcomed the resource person and briefed about the importance of this workshop.
On the first day, A K Kaul addressed the students and enlightened them with tips on facing an interview effectively.
He said while facing an interview, the candidates should possess attitude, interpersonal skills and honesty.
An excellent presentation was also shown by the resource person.
On the second day, mock interview drills were conducted.
Some students were selected as interviewees. The interviewers were A K Kaul, Vishali Razdan and Auditi Malhotra.
The resource person also gave knowledge about how to answer the questions effectively.
He threw light on the do’s and don’ts of facing an interview.
The programme was conducted by Vishali Razdan, Convener, Alumni and Placement Committee.
