KATHUA, Sept 14: A middle aged man committed suicide by shooting himself by his 12 bore gun at his rented house in Ward 14 Ramnagar, here, today.
He has been identified as Karan Singh, 55 of Udhampur. Karan Singh a civil contractor was residing in Ward No 14 Ramnagar Kathua for a long time. He was sitting alone at his rented house after the death of his wife four years back as his son a Government employee was posted at Udhampur.
During this afternoon when Singh was alone at his residence he took away his 12 bore gun and shot himself dead in mere frustration.
The Hatli More Police Post falling under the jurisdiction of Kathua Police Station has registered a case in this regard.
