UDHAMPUR, Sept 24: Mystery shrouded death of a middle-aged housewife, who was found dead near her house in village Kawa, here today.
The deceased was identified as Bimla Devi (45), wife of Sham Lal of village Kawa. She had gone to collect animal fodder and did not return. Later, her body was found at some distance from the residence, under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed, Police took the body in its possession and shifted the same to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem. A case under 174 CrPC has been registered in this connection for further investigation.
