MHA confers NHPC with Rajbhasha Kirti Puruskar

JAMMU, Sept 14: NHPC’s has been awarded second prize under ‘Rajbhasha Kirti Puruskar’ in Region ‘A’ by Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India for the year 2021-22 under ‘Rajbhasha Kirti Puruskar’ scheme.
The award was presented by Minister of State for Home Affairs Nisith Pramanik during Hindi Diwas ceremony. Minister of State for Home Affair Ajay Kumar Mishra was also present on the occasion.
YK Chaubey, CMD, NHPC received the award during Hindi Diwas function today at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Indoor Stadium, Surat, Gujarat.
Rajbhasha Kirti Puruskar is the highest award given by the Government of India in the field of official language implementation.
It is pertinent to mention that this award has been conferred for the 10th time to NHPC for its excellent implementation of official language in the Public Sector Undertakings category.
NHPC has made progressive progress in the field of Hydropower Generation and Development as well as in the field of Official Language. NHPC has also been honored with several Rajbhasha Awards at the National Level for its remarkable achievements in the field of Official Language implementation.
