JAMMU, Nov 5: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration demanding construction of ring road and starting of Metro Train Service from Amphalla to Akhnoor.
The protest was led by MSJK leader, Sunil Dimple who said that condition of Amphalla to Janipur road is very bad.
The protesters raised slogans against PWD, JMC, officers of Smart City project, ERA and others for bad condition of Amphalla to Janipur road.
They said that footpaths have reduced the width of roads which is causing traffic problems.
Dimple claimed that all sewerage man-holes on the roads are overflowing and the litter gets spread on roads spreading diseases.
He said that the dirty water enters show-rooms, shops, houses, schools and the vehicles moving on road splashes the dirty water on passersby.
Manjiet Anand, Sachin Soi, Sat Sharma, Rupesh Bhat, Shivankur Sharma, Arjun, Ashok Sharma, Ajay Kumar and others were also present in the protest.
