NEW DELHI, Mar 16: Menthol prices fell by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today owing to reduced offtake by consuming units amid adequate stocks.
Increased arrivals from producing regions in Uttar Pradesh also weighed on the menthol prices.
Menthol bold crystal, flake and mentha oil prices declined by Rs 10 each to conclude at Rs 1,110, Rs 1,100 and Rs 1,130 per kg, respectively.
Traders said reduced offtake by consuming industries against increased arrivals from producing regions mainly pulled down menthol prices.
