NEW DELHI, Aug 2: Mentha oil prices were trading higher by 0.86 per cent to Rs 1,566 per kg in futures market today after participants raised bets on high demand from consuming industries at the spot market against restricted arrivals from producing regions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery this month was trading higher by Rs 13.30, or 0.86 per cent, to Rs 1,566 per kg, clocking a business volume of 376 lots.
The oil for September delivery was trading higher by Rs 11.80, or 0.74 per cent, to Rs 1,607 per kg, with a trading volume of 36 lots.
