NEW DELHI, July 23: Mentha oil prices fell further by 0.43 per cent to Rs 935 per kg in futures trade today as speculators indulged in reducing positions, tracking a weak trend at spot market on falling demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in July eased by Rs 4, or 0.43 per cent to Rs 935 per kg in business turnover of 266 lots.
In a similar fashion, the oil for delivery in July traded lower by Rs 3.60, or 0.38 per cent to Rs 949.50 per kg in 414 lots.
Analysts said apart from weak trend at spot market on subdued demand from consuming industries, ample stocks on higher supplies from producing belts mainly kept pressure on mentha oil prices at futures trade. (PTI)
