NEW DELHI, Sept 23: Mentha oil prices were up by by 0.48 per cent to Rs 663.90 per kg in futures trade today as speculators enlarged positions, supported by good demand in spot markets
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in September gained Rs 3.20, or 0.48 per cent, to Rs 663.90 per kg, with a trading volume of 635 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in October edged up by Rs 2.90, or 0.43 per cent, to Rs 674 per kg, with a business turnover of 408 lots.
Marketmen said a firming trend at the spot markets amid restricted supplies from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh, mainly influenced mentha oil prices at futures trade here. (PTI)
