JAMMU, Mar 6: Khour Police reunited a mentally disturbed person with his family.
As per police sources, an information was received through reliable sources that a person was found wandering unnecessary in the area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Khour.
Acting over the information, a team from Police Station Khour led by the then SHO Khour Inspector Punjab Singh caught the said person last year.
On enquiry, it was found that the said person’s name is Rajesh Singh, son of late Ram Bachan Singh of Uttar Pradesh and he is mentally disturbed.
On this, the information about the said person was shared to the higher ups after which it was directed to hand over the said person to his family members.
Today, a special police team of Police Station Khour led by ASI Ashok Kumar, HC Raj Kumar and Constable Vinay Kumar went to Uttar Pradesh and with the help of village head namely Ram Sabroop Singh handed over the person to the family members after completing all the legal formalities.
