JAMMU, Oct 13: Samvedna Society chairman Keshav Chopra organized a free Mental Health Checkup Camp at Shelter Home for Urban Homeless at Boria Basti in Bahu Fort area.
The Camp was inaugurated by Assistant Commissioner General Jammu Manisha Angral accompanied by Municipal Councillor Sham Lal Basson and SHO Bahu Fort Police Station Inspector Arti Thakur.
Head of Department, Government Psychiatric Diseases Hospital Jammu, Dr Manu Arora examined the patients during the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Manisha Angral lauded the efforts of Samvedna Society for providing best medical treatment to the common man at their doorstep.
Keshav Chopra, while speaking, promised to organize such free medical camps in future, expressing his commitment to the welfare of the needy sections of the society.
Veena Bakshi (president of Shelter Home), Rajni Devi, Mona Dogra, Ravinder Rajwal, Vikas Kumar, Manoj Tandon, Divyansh Gupta, Sushil Gupta and many others were present during the camp.
