SRINAGAR, May 13: A delegation comprising office-bearers and representatives of Bar Association Chadoora and Chrar-e-Sharief called on the Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura and Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and Relief & Rehabilitation Syed Basharat Bukhari here today.
The Ministers assured the members of the Associations that all their genuine demands would be looked into. He said the Government will look into and mitigate the problems of the lawyers.
They said that the Government would ensure general welfare of lawyers as the community deserves a benevolent patronage to perform their noble duties smoothly. They said various measures are being taken by the Government so that the lawyers can perform their professional duties without any infrastructure hassles.
PDP General Secretary Nizam-ud-Din Bhat was also present on the occasion.
Earlier, the representatives of the Bar Associations projected their demands before the Ministers which include construction of additional block for Bar members and other facilities.
Secretary, Law Mohammad Ashraf Mir, was also present on the occasion.
