JAMMU, Jan 28: All J&K Megh Sabha, Old Rehari, organized a function to observe Sadguru Kabir Ji Maharaj’s “Anter Dyan Divas” when Sadguru Kabir Ji left this world leaving behind flower instead of his body.
He is only Saint whose arrival and departure is unknown to the world. Live satsang by Mahant Ajay Dass from Kashi held in Sabha premises in presence of large number of devotees. Cultural program and debate over Sadguru Kabir’s philosophy were also performed by students and others.
A large number of intellectuals from Bhagat community as well as other communities were present in the function who after having blessings of Sadguru Kabir Ji, threw light on life and philosophy of great saint.
On the eve of “Anter Dyan Divas”, Vice Chairman of SC, ST, BC Development Corporation Balbir Ram Rattan was chief guest, who paid tributes to the great saint and advised the people to follow the path of peace and harmony for the betterment of humanity. He also assured that his party is fully committed to safeguard the interests and rights of all reserved classes.
Chairman SC, ST, OBC and Former Minister of National Conference Ram Paul requested the gathering to follow the principles and guidelines shown by Great Saint Kabir Sahib. He also ensured that he will continue to fight against those who were trying or thinking to change our constitution which is given by Dr BR Ambedkar.
Narinder Datt, General Secretary of the Sabha also requested the community to adopt that lifestyle which is given by the Kabir Sahib. He also requested to Government of Punjab to continue holiday on Kabir Jyanti which has been cancelled on behalf of Sabha otherwise nationwide protest would be started.
In the end, Behari Lal Bhagat, President of the Sabha presented vote of thanks.
