ANANTNAG, Apr 30: The Health & Medical Education Department has ordered a reshuffle in the administration of Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag, assigning new responsibilities in the interest of patient care and administrative efficiency.
As per Government Order No. 388-JK (HME) of 2026 dated April 29, Dr Bilal Mashraf Banday, Consultant Pathology presently posted at District Hospital Budgam, has been deputed to GMC Anantnag and assigned the charge of Medical Superintendent of the Associated Hospital until further orders.
Meanwhile, Dr Arshad Hussain Siddiqui, who was holding the charge of Medical Superintendent at GMC Anantnag, has been attached to the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir (DHSK), Srinagar, until further orders.
The move is aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery and ensuring better management of hospital services in the region. (KNC)
