Medical shop owner, associate held with intoxicants

JAMMU, Oct 31: Police today arrested a medical shop owner and his associate along with large quantity of intoxicants from Gandli area, falling.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Arnia police station conducted a raid in a medical shop at Gandli area and recovered 1300 intoxicant capsules and 750 tablets.
The owner of the medical shop identified as Kuldeep Raj, son of Om Parkash, a resident of Gandli and his associate Surjeet Singh, son of Gyan Singh, a resident of Sehlar were arrested on the spot.
A case under FIR number 63/14 under Section 8/21/22 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Arnia police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Inspector Jatinder Singh Samyal made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Devinder Singh, SP Headquarters Randhir Singh and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
