Medical employees highlight grievances, demands

DODA, Mar 16: Members of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation today held meetings at Kishtwar and Doda under the Chairmanship of president Sushil Sudan for discussing the issues with regard to the drawl of salaries of surplus employees and inordinate delay in issuance of DPC orders.
Sushil Sudan expressed serious concern over the non-release of salaries of surplus Health employees of various categories. He alleged that because of corrupt attitude of concerned authorities, the DPC orders were being issued in parts without any criteria.
The meetings also highlighted various other demands, which included; transparency in transfers, amendment of SRO-20,  notional benefit to the all Adhoc and  Contractual employees of the department, risk allowance to all Medical employees, filling up of all vacant posts of Gazetted / Non Gazetted cadre as per sanctioned position in rural areas as well as in urban Health institutions, adequate supply of Medicine to all Health institutions and  regularization policy for the employees engaged under SRO 384/409.
