JAMMU, Aug 21: A deputation of medical employees engaged under SRO 384/409 as academic arrangements today met Principal and Dean, Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, Dr Sunanda Raina and put forth demands of the employees.
Led by Subash Verma, State president, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh and Sushil Sudan, State president, Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF), the deputation discussed threadbare the demands of the regularization of medical employees engaged under SRO 384/409 and also disbursement of their salary, with the Principal in her office.
After listening to the deputation, Dr Sunanda Raina assured the deputation members that all their pending demands will be fulfilled within days. The Principal told the employees that their salary has been delayed due to on line system introduced by the State Government recently.
Manzoor Ahmed, Choudhary Jarnail Singh, Tajinder Singh, Madan Lal Sharma, Raman Anand, Subash Choudhary, Gourab Sharma and Ashwani Sharma (president and media incharge of JKSRO 384/409 Employees’ Association) were the part of the deputation.
