SAMBA, July 24: The Medical and Chemist Association Samba held protest against the Health Department in front of District Hospital here, today against opening of chemist shops by Health Department in the premises of District Hospital.
Opposing the step of the Government, the protesters said that the decision will hit their trade.
The protest was held under the presidentship of Shiv Dev Raizada president Chemist Association Samba and the protesters raising slogans against the Government also burnt the effigy of Health and Medical Education Minister Bali Bhagat.
They demanded revocation of the decision immediately failing which they will intensify the agitation and the Government will be responsible for the consequences.
