Medical camps organized by Army

Srinagar, Dec 9: Sub Divisional Hospital, in collaboration with the Army, today organised a medical camp at Dhanni village of Karnah in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A Defence spokesman said a team of Army and civil doctors and specialists provided medical support and care to the local populace. Free medical prescriptions and medicines were provided to the over 500 persons from the adjoining villages of Sudhpura, Dhanni, Tad and Gabra, he said.
Another 500 people from Hiri village and its adjoining areas in Trehgam area of Kupwara district benefitted from a similar initiative where a team of doctors from the Army and Primary Health Centre not only provided free medical care but also educated them on health awareness, seasonal and skin diseases, the Defence spokesman said.
