Medical camp dedicated to Col. Dr. R N Chopra organized

JAMMU, Nov 26: Gandhi Global Family (GGF), Indian System of Medicine and Green India Foundation today organized 175th COVID-19 medical cum awareness camp at Rehari where AYUSH immunity boosting medicines were provided to locals of the area while an expert team of doctors examined the patients.
The camp was dedicated to internationally acclaimed local scientist Sir Col. Dr. R.N Chopra, founder Director of Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM).
JMC Councillor, Anu Bali inaugurated the camp in the presence of Gauri Chopra of Baby Caterer, Robert Robin Gill, Younis Mattoo, Dr. Prem Sharma, S.K Vaid, Raghav Changotra, Sanjeev Kohli, Rakesh Singh Bahu, David Sandhu, Daniel Nar, Ravinder Kumar and others.
Over 335 people visited the camp and were examined by Dr. Sukhpreet Kour, Dr. Shifali Sharma and Nishat Khajuria, pharmacist.
Earlier, awareness on COVID-19 was also conducted by a team of ISM doctors.
GGF J&K president, Padmashri Dr S.P Varma expressed his gratitude to Dr. Mohan Singh, Director ISM and Dr. Suresh Sharma, ADMO Jammu for deputing a team of doctors and providing free AYUSH medicines for boosting the immunity of local people. Earlier Vimal Sabarwal, a local prominent citizen from Resham Ghar Colony was honoured with Mahatma Gandhi Seva Puruskar for his outstanding contributions towards humanity during COVID-19 pandemic.
