JAMMU, Aug 17: Maa Chandi Parivaar (MCP) Cassettes today released a video DVD ‘Jaagey Wali Raat’ of Chandi Mata Bhajans today at KL Saigal hall.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, MLC was the chief guest on the occasion, whereas Pawan Kumar Shastri, Chairman, Swastik Group of Industries was the guest of honour. The release ceremony was attended by a number of prominent citizens from different walks of life.
The DVD contains 8 bhajans, sung by Monika Slathia. Music has been composed by Dogri films ‘Gitiyan’ and ‘Reet’ fame music director, Arvind Kumar, wheras lyrics have been written by Shivani, Ramesh and Arvind. The music for the DVD has been arranged by Shubhdeep. The DVD, whose title track is ‘Jaagey wali Raat’, contains Bhajans in various languages of the State including Paadri, Hindi, Punjabi and Dogri.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest lauded the efforts of the production house for releasing the DVD and assured full support for upliftment of Art and Culture of the State.
On the occasion, MCP also honoured some personalities of the Sate related to music field, which included Brij Mohan, Jeevan Sharma, Yash Pal Yash and Payasa Anjum.
Prominent among other guests present on the occasion included Chairman, Vinayak Enterpises, A S Rana, Shakti Dutt Sharma, Dr Arvinder Singh, Dr Harish Kaila, Surinder Sharma and Sunil Bandral.
