JAMMU, Sept 17: Mini Bus Workers Union (MBWU), Jammu Province today held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president, Darshan Kumar Mehra, and discussed various issues.
During the course of meeting, Mehra stressed upon the drivers and conductors of all mini-buses plying in Jammu city as well as in outskirts not to display objectionable slogans which are likely to hurt the sentiments of general masses.
The association president also appealed the drivers and conductors to abide by all rules and regulations of traffic including wearing proper uniform. He also stressed upon the operators to avoid music system in their vehicles so that the passengers do not face any difficulty.
Mehra also appealed the authorities for ensuring proper stops/parking slots for boarding and de-boarding of the passengers without causing any traffic jam.
