JAMMU, Dec 20: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta today toured different localities of Shakti Nagar areas along with Corporator of Ward No. 29, Surinder Singh.
JMC’s Executive Engineer (Central), Health Officer, Municipal Veterinary Officer, Chief Transport Officer and other field staff was also accompanying the Mayor. The Mayor took stock of the grievances of the residents of Shakti Nagar area which were raised by them regarding prevailing sanitation condition, menace of stray animals, proper removal of garbage from their lanes on routine basis, re-modelling of lanes and drains and Nallahs flowing through Shakti Nagar area which always create havoc in rainy season as water enters into residential houses due to blockage.
The Mayor directed the concerned officers regarding the grievances of the residents and asked them to sort these out on war footing.
He appealed to the general public to cooperate with the JMC authorities to make Jammu a really smart city.
Later, the Mayor inaugurated the famous Royal Circus at Purmandal Morh Jammu.
