JAMMU, Nov 20: Mayor Jammu Municipality (JMC), Chander Mohan Gupta along with former MLA, Rajesh Gupta started the construction work of the Retaining Wall at Kaleeth Mohalla in Ward No.15, here.
The estimated cost of the work is Rs 13 lakhs.
Corporator Sandhya Gupta accompanied the entourage in the inaugural function.
Chander Mohan Gupta while speaking on the occasion elaborated upon the various schemes launched by the Modi Government and said that all these schemes are being implemented with great enthusiasm on the ground and in due course a huge positive transformation would result.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that the pace of the developmental works would be maintained for better results.
He said that the service of the people is a mission for the workers of the BJP and in particular the workers of the Jammu East Constituency.
He eulogised the Mayor for his pro active policies and said that the Mayor has a great developmental profile.
Rajesh Gupta said that the multi tier parking system started by the BJP Government is fast reaching its completion and once ready it would immensely contribute in reducing congestion by providing adequate parking facility to the people of Jammu.
Corporator Sandhya Gupta thanked the dignitaries for the Retaining Wall project and said that the BJP Corporators have made a huge difference on the ground and have emulated the developmental habits of their seniors.
