JAMMU, May 7: Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Chander Mohan Sharma who along with BJP MLC and party vice president, Girdhari Lal Raina and councilor, Mohinder Kumar Bhagat visited Laxmi Vihar, Tomal Bohri assured the residents of the area that in case the construction on the piece of land adjacent to Ashram of Mahatma Atma Ram Ji of Gosanigund in Laxmi Vihar Tumal is being made without proper permission of the JMC it will be immediately stopped.
The Laxmi Vihar Welfare Committee president, C L Garoo and other members informed the Mayor that the construction will cause a lot of problem and it may be stopped. The Mayor also later had an extensive tour of the area and assessed the problems of the people including sanitation issue. He assured the residents that the problems will be solved. He also sought their cooperation in this regard .
The MLC and councilor also assured that the genuine issues of the people will be solved. The welcome address was read by president of the Committee, C L Garoo while stage was managed by Ashwani Kumar, general secretary of the Committee.
R K Bhat, P N Raina, M K Garoo, Mohinder Kumar, Yashpal, Karan Singh and others were present on the occasion.
