UDHAMPUR, Apr 24: PHE/Jal Shakti Employees and Workers Association has decided to cancel May Day rally in view of the growing COVID-19 crisis.
In an emgergency meeting of the Association held today under the leadership of Som Nath, senior Trade Union leader at PHE Complex Udhampur, the members unanimously decided to cancel the proposed May Day rally on May 1.
He said while respecting the SOPs issued by the Government in view of Corona crisis, this decision was taken for the welfare of the employees and workers and general public as well. He however, said that Govt must address the pending issues of the PHE employees and workers.
