SRINAGAR: Security forces today launched a massive search operation in the woods of the frontier Kashmir district of Kupwara, official sources said. They said following a tip off about presence of militants at Ramhal and in the forest area of Handwara in Kupwara, 6 Rashitriya Rifles and Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a joint search operation in the area. A massive hunt has been launched in the area, they said, adding so far no contact was established. The operation comes a day after large cache of arms and ammunition was recovered at Lolab in Kupwara. (AGENCIES)
