REASI, Oct 5: A team of officers under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Reasi today conducted surprise checking of market in Reasi town and recovered a fine of Rs 7500 from the erring traders and shopkeepers.
The team comprised of AD CAPD, Tehsildar Reasi, Assistant Commissioner Food and Safety, SHO Reasi, N.T Reasi and Food Safety Officer.
Traders and shopkeepers were warned against sale of rotten and stale sweets. They were asked to maintain hygiene and also to display rate lists.
Restaurants in and around the town were also checked and all owners were advised not to use domestic cylinder.
